• What do you mean by “private cooking lessons with Chef Owen”?
  • If you’re the lucky Grand Prize Winner, Chef Owen will visit your home to give you private cooking lessons right in your own kitchen. What the lesson includes and how it is conducted is completely up to you. We’ll customize your cooking lesson with Chef Owen just for you.

    Here are just a few of the things that could be included in your customized cooking lesson with Chef Owen:
  • Learn how to select the freshest ingredients. Chef Owen will accompany you on a trip to the local grocery store to teach you how to spot what’s fresh and what’s not.
  • Host a cooking class for your friends. Chef Owen will teach a cooking class for you and up to three of your friends. Whatever you want to learn, whether it’s how to throw the perfect dinner party or how to get meals on the table in under 30 minutes, Chef Owen will have the answers.
  • Slice, dice and chop. Want to learn the basic cooking techniques that every chef learns in culinary school? No problem – Chef Owen will share his chef’s secrets for food preparation.

  • Will I have to have the food on hand for Chef Owen to cook with?
  • No. Sea Cuisine™ will provide the ingredients, based on the cooking lesson you select. Up to $200 in groceries will be provided.
  • My kids love to cook. Can I enter them into the contest?
  • We’re so glad that your kids love to cook! Unfortunately, you must be at least eighteen years old to enter the sweepstakes. However, if you win the sweepstakes, you can customize the day to include cooking lessons with your children.
  • Will Chef Owen have to stay at my house?
  • No.
  • What will be my responsibility for Chef Owen while he is in town?
  • Just to have fun and enjoy your private cooking lessons. Our team will work with you to plan your customized day and will manage all of the details of the actual cooking lesson.
  • What if my kitchen is too small?
  • There’s no such thing. Great food can be made in any kitchen!
  • Will Chef Owen bring his own cookware or will he use mine?
  • Chef Owen will use kitchenware that you already have in your home. (Remember, he is there to show you that anyone can be a good cook! Special gadgets are not necessary). But, you will also receive a $200 gift certificate to cooking.com in case there are some things that you would like to add to your kitchen.
  • Can I enter more than once?
  • You can earn additional sweepstakes entries by recommending Sea Cuisine™ to a friend. For each valid email address you submit at www.seacuisine.com during the promotion period, you will automatically receive one (1) sweepstakes entry. Limit fifty (50) total entries per email address.
  • What's the last date on which I can enter?
  • The Win-a-Chef Sweepstakes officially ends at 11:59 a.m. (ET) on December 31, 2009.
  • How long will I have to use my free cooking lessons?
  • The lesson must be used by or before August 31, 2010. Some dates may not be available and you must receive approval for your lesson request at least 4 weeks before the scheduled date. See Official Rules.
  • If it isn’t me, how can I find out who won?
  • The Win-a-Chef Sweepstakes Grand Prize Winner will be announced on the Sea Cuisine™ website. Visit www.seacuisine.com after February 1, 2010 for the winning announcement.
