Asian Grill Salmon With Spicy Hunan-Style Vegetables

For the Jasmine Rice

  • 1/2 cup Jasmine Rice
  • 1 cup Canned Vegetable Stock
  • 1 tsp Toasted Sesame Oil

For the Spicy Hunan-Style Vegetables

  • 3 tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • 1 tbsp Ginger, microplaned
  • 1 1/2 tbsp Garlic, sliced
  • 1/4 cup Scallions, white part only
  • 1/4 cup Carrots, sliced
  • 1/2 cup Red Bell Pepper, sliced
  • 1/2 cup Yellow Bell Peppers
  • 2 tbsp Serrano Peppers, sliced
  • 1/4 cup Shiitake Mushrooms, stem removed cut caps in half
  • 1/4 cup Snow Peas, snipped
  • 1 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • 1 tbsp Oyster Sauce
Tips from the chef: Adjust the spicy heat by either adding more or less Serrano chili peppers to the dish.
  1. Prepare Sea Cuisine Asian Grill Salmon per package directions.
  2. Prepare Jasmine Rice per directions on box, opting for the use of vegetable stock instead of water and a small addition of toasted sesame oil.
  3. Heat a large sauté pan, or Wok, on medium high heat. Carefully add oil to the hot pan followed by the ginger, garlic and scallions. Stir while cooking for about 20 seconds. Add carrots and stir-fry for 1 minute, then bell peppers, serrano peppers, shitake mushrooms and snow peas. Cook for one additional minute. Add soy sauce, honey, and oyster sauce. Stir well and cook for one additional minute before removing from the heat.
  4. Divide the jasmine rice and Hunan veggies equally between two bowls or plates. Top each with a fully cooked portion of Asian Grill Salmon and enjoy.
