Preparation

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 ea Sea Cuisine Garlic Herb Tilapia
  • 8 oz Broccoli Florets
  • 2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 2 tbsp Garlic, sliced
  • 1/2 tsp Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1/4 cup Water
  • 2 tbsp Lemon
  • 2 tbsp Grated Parmesan
  • Salt And Pepper to taste
Tips from the chef: Enjoy as is, or try any number of sauces like a red pepper romesco or sweet basil pesto.
  1. Prepare the Tilapia, either in a sauté pan or a pre-heated oven, according to the package instructions.
  2. Separately, preheat a large non-stick sauté pan over a medium-high setting. Place the broccoli florets into the pan, laying any flat cut sides of the broccoli down first. Cook the broccoli in the dry pan over a medium-high setting for 5-7 minutes, allowing it to slowly begin to caramelize as moisture is evaporated.
  3. Once the broccoli begins to brown and caramelize you can begin tossing it gently to brown the other sides. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add the olive oil along with the sliced garlic and pepper flakes to the pan and cook for 1 minute. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  5. Add the lemon juice and water to the pan in one step and toss well allowing the broccoli to steam until 'al dente.'
  6. Place one piece of fully cooked Garlic Herb Tilapia down on each dinner plate. Divide the caramelized broccoli between the plates and place alongside the Tilapia. Gently drizzle over any of the remaining lemon juice and sliced garlic before garnishing with grated parmesan cheese.
